About NIN
The Netherlands Institute of Navigation (NIN) is a non-profit association with the goal of promoting, developing, deepening, consolidating, and spreading knowledge in the fields of positioning, navigation, and time measurement. The NIN was established in 1987 and is active in all sectors that use technological advancements in these areas: on land, at sea, in the air, and in space. The NIN operates in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The NIN regularly organizes events that bring together individuals and companies active in the navigation domain around the latest developments in navigation. The NIN also collaborates with other associations (such as Geo-Informatie Nederland, KNVvL, etc.) as a co-organizer of events.

Additionally, the NIN keeps its members informed of news from the navigation world via email. The NIN periodically compiles a newsletter with the latest news from within and outside the NIN. Furthermore, members receive the European Journal of Navigation, an international journal containing scientific and practical articles. The EJN also features news from various European navigation associations.

The NIN is a platform for sharing knowledge and establishing connections in the world of positioning, navigation, and time measurement.
