Student membership
The NVR is one of the oldest space societies in the world, but that doesn’t make it old!
Especially for students, the NVR offers a perfect access to the Dutch and international space sector! The NVR regularly cooperates with student associations of space-related universities and colleges and is a partner of the Space Generation Advisory Council. With members in all corners of space, the NVR is the largest network of space specialists and hobbyists in the Netherlands.
With a free student membership, you have no excuse not to be a member! Free student membership is for all college and university bound students. The student membership also applies to students of the Leiden Instrumentation School (LiS). It offers the same benefits as a regular NVR membership:
- Our magazine ‘Ruimtevaart’ (4x a year), the largest space glossy in the Netherlands (as a digital file, by email).
- Membership in a global network of like-minded space professionals and enthusiasts.
- Exclusive access to a wide variety of space activities we organize for our members, such as company visits, mini-symposiums, theme nights, space movie nights and the famous NVR space drinks.
- As an NVR member, you have access to all the facilities and events of our British sister organization the British Interplanetary Society.
As a student member, would you like to receive the magazine ‘Space’ as a printed magazine by mail? Of course you can. This costs only €30 per year.
