VSV Sipke Wynia Symposium

As engineering students by nature, innovation is the ultimate end goal, ’the great white whale’. Despite its many positive advancements over the past few decades, revolutionising the way our world operates, the aviation industry has often been criticised for its conservative posture against adaptation and its tendency for the conventional. Over the course of the symposium, key figures of the industry as well as professionals give their thoughts and insight into the innovations of our generation and debate over the question: “Are we really stepping away from the conventional?”

Taking place on the 20th of May 2021 as an online talk-show format, the symposium includes speaker presentations alongside live interviews as well as panel discussions; all in the aim of providing participants an informative and broad overview of our current stance. Topics featured on the event dwell on inventive aircraft designs, the practicality of zero emission fuels and the commercialising of our space.

After the conclusion of the event, participants are able to partake in the networking session and hold discussions of their own.

This event is free for the first 30 NVR members. In order to register for this syposium, send an email to secretariaat@ruimtevaart-nvr.nl. The registration deadline is 18th of May. You will receive an dedicated email a few days before the event with login details to enter the Remo platform.
