Will you help us inspire the Dutch public for space travel? Participate in our creative competition and have a chance to win a nice amount of money! Your work will be exhibited in one of the space museums in the Netherlands and the winning artwork will appear on the cover of Ruimtevaart magazine.

The NVR is already 70 years old this year. We would like to celebrate this with our members and therefore organize various activities, including a symposium and a creative competition. The award ceremony for the creative competition will take place during the symposium that is currently planned for the spring of 2022.

As an NVR member you can participate in the following five categories:
1) graphic (painting, drawing, graffiti, space patches)
2) photo and
3) video art
4) 3-D work (sculpting, 3-D printing)
5) performance art

A prize of 70 euros will be awarded to the winner of each category and 350 euros for the overall winner. This overall winner will be chosen from the winners of the various categories, by the jury and the participants of the symposium. The winners of the various categories are chosen by a jury made up of aerospace professionals and artists. The NVR reserves the right, if there are too few registrations for a category, to cancel the price for this category or to combine it with another category and the right not to hand out prizes if the quality is found to be insufficient. If a category expires, you can participate for the general prize.

How do you participate? Please indicate in which category you would like to participate before September 30, 2021 by sending an email to the secretariat (secretariaat@ Ruimtevaart-nvr.nl). You will then receive confirmation of your participation from the NVR. After your registration you will receive tips and the preconditions per category. Think, for example, of how the artwork from a certain category should be submitted. Your artwork must be submitted before February 28, 2022. When submitting your artwork, you also give permission for its display and use in the Ruimtevaart magazine.

De NVR bestaat dit jaar al 70 jaar. We willen dit graag met onze leden vieren en organiseren daarom verschillende activiteiten, waaronder een symposium en een creatieve wedstrijd. De prijsuitreiking van de creatieve wedstrijd zal plaatsvinden tijdens het symposium dat vooralsnog gepland staat voor het voorjaar van 2022.

 

U kunt als NVR lid meedoen in de volgende vijf categorieën:

2) foto- en

3) videokunst

4) 3-D-werk (beeldhouwen, 3-D printen)

5) performance art

 

Er zal een prijs van 70 euro uitgereikt worden aan de winnaar van elke categorie en een bedrag van 350 euro voor de algemene winnaar. Deze overall winnaar zal gekozen worden uit de winnaars van de diverse categorieën, door de jury en de deelnemers aan het symposium. De winnaars van de verschillende categorieën worden gekozen door een jury die bestaat uit ruimtevaartprofessionals en kunstenaars. De NVR behoudt het recht om bij te weinig aanmeldingen voor een categorie, de prijs voor deze categorie te laten vervallen of met een andere categorie samen te voegen en het recht om geen prijzen uit te delen indien de kwaliteit onvoldoende bevonden wordt. Mocht een categorie vervallen dan kunt u wel deelnemen voor de algemene hoofdprijs.

 

Hoe doet u mee? Geef vóór 30 september 2021 aan in welke categorie u wilt meedoen, door een email naar het secretariaat te sturen (secretariaat@ ruimtevaart-nvr.nl). U krijgt dan vanuit de NVR de bevestiging van uw deelname. Na uw aanmelding krijgt u tips en de randvoorwaarden per categorie toegestuurd. Denkt u daarbij bijvoorbeeld aan hoe het kunstwerk uit een bepaalde categorie ingediend moet worden. Uw kunstwerk moet voor 28 februari 2022 ingeleverd zijn. Bij inzending van uw kunstwerk geeft u ook toestemming voor het tentoonstellen en het gebruik in het blad Ruimtevaart.
