A student membership is free!

The NVR is one of the oldest space societies in the world, but it’s anything but old-fashioned! For students, the NVR offers the perfect gateway to the Dutch and international space sector. The society frequently collaborates with space-focused student organisations and has multiple partnerships. With members across all areas of the space industry, the NVR is the largest network of space professionals and enthusiasts in the Netherlands.

This membership is available to all students enrolled at a university or college, including those from the Leiden Instrument Makers School (LiS).

As a student member, you’ll receive the Netherlands’ largest space glossy four times a year digitally and gain access to a global network of like-minded space professionals and enthusiasts. Stay up-to-date through newsletters and enjoy invitations to exclusive events such as company visits, (mini-)symposia, themed- and movie nights, and social gatherings.

Would you prefer to receive the magazine ‘Ruimtevaart’ by postal mail? That’s possible too! This costs only €30 per year for students.

Become a company member starting at €325 per year!
For companies and institutions in the Dutch space sector, there are four types of memberships: startup, small, medium, and large. The size of the company or organisation determines the contribution and is linked to the number of colleagues active in the space industry.

With a large number of corporate members and partners, the NVR offers a vast, dynamic, and international network. In addition to the opportunity to co-organize theme days, members can also enhance their visibility through the Ruimtevaart magazine, the NVR website, and its social media channels.
