50 Years of ANS

On August 30, 2024, it will be exactly 50 years since the launch of the first Dutch satellite (ANS). Fifty years later, on August 30, 2024, the NVR and NRM (National Space Museum) are organizing a very special event at the Aviodrome in Lelystad. This event will not only highlight the important development of ANS for the Dutch space sector, but also feature five leading Dutch space companies presenting insights into their current and future space projects. On behalf of NSO, Joost Carpay will deliver a keynote address.

The full program is as follows:

12:30 – Access for participants through the main entrance of Aviodrome to the Friendship Foyer
13:30 – 14:45 – Gathering in the Uiver Room with a short opening speech by Zeholy Pronk (NRM)
