General Assembly 2026

On 11 June, the NVR held its Annual General Assembly (ALV) at our corporate member West End in Lisse. West End — thank you for the warm welcome and the excellent organisation!

We looked back on 2025 with the presentation of the secretarial and financial annual reports, and we looked ahead with inspiring updates from all our committees (Events, Website & IT, Legal Affairs, Editorial and Communications). The proposal for new honorary members was also approved unanimously — the official installation will follow in December.

Further highlights:

• the treasurer presented the budgets for 2026, 2027 and 2028
• the 2025 board was granted discharge
• the 2026 board was appointed, with Philippe Schoonejans as the new chair; unfortunately, he was unable to attend in person. Fabio Zandanel and Nadine Duursma were appointed as new board members. The full board can be found on this page.

We concluded with the strategic direction for the coming years: a focus on attracting youth, strengthening media relations, webinars with experts, more company visits and international cooperation.

And of course: a heartfelt thank‑you to Pieter van Beekhuizen for his passionate leadership and tireless dedication over the past years!
