SGAC / NVR Space Pub Quiz

On Friday, 10 October, the Netherlands Space Society (NVR) and the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) co-hosted a lively Space Pub Quiz in the cozy cellar of Het Boterhuis in Delft.

The sold-out event brought together teams from across the Dutch space community, including Airbus, Cosine, TU Delft, and Leiden University’s Space Law Faculty, along with other enthusiastic space fans.

Five themed multimedia rounds tested everyone’s knowledge, with fantastic prizes generously provided by the NVR and SES Satellites. Hosts Andy McGarry (NVR) and Kim Regnery (SGAC) guided participants through the quiz, while Ian van den Broek (SGAC) and Bushra K. (NVR) kept score behind the scenes. Delicious snacks, courtesy of NVR, fueled the competition.

With just one point separating the top three teams at halftime, the contest was neck and neck. In the end, TU Delft surged ahead with impressive expertise in New Space and sharp observation skills in the picture round to claim first place!
