Space in the Netherlands
The Netherlands Space Society (NVR) is the largest space society for space professionals and enthusiasts in the Netherlands. For over 70 years, it has followed the sector’s evolution.
With 1100+ members—ranging from experts to students, from young professionals to enthusiasts—NVR connects people who share a passion for space. The society organizes lectures, film nights, company visits and networking events, often in collaboration with other organisations.
Members receive ‘Ruimtevaart’ magazine four times a year, packed with insights on current and future missions, research, arts, and technology. Thanks to a dedicated team, the magazine remains accessible and relevant to anyone with an interest in space.
